Cork Centre for Independent Living (“Cork CIL”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

Who we are

Information we collect

  • Contact form: when you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and the content of your message, so that we can respond to you.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised information about how visitors use the site (such as pages viewed) to help us improve it.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide only to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide the support or information you have asked for;
  • process job or service applications where relevant;
  • improve this website (where you have consented to analytics).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us operate the site (see below).

Cookies

This site sets no non-essential cookies unless you accept them. Where analytics is enabled, cookies load under Consent Mode — no analytics or advertising cookies are set until you accept via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data-protection terms.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and application information only for as long as necessary to deal with your request and to meet our legal and administrative obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
